Sep 28, 2008 - This man is no TV legend; he is no less than a human legend.

allrequiredfields Says:

Sep 28, 2008 - Your selfish words hold no weight against a man who has accomplished for for humanity than your hate ever could. This boring, typical but unfortunately now common sentiment is another mile marker on humanity's steady decline into self-centered, characterless, relativistic chaos.

Sep 28, 2008 - Liberals.

AdamJSnider Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - You can sure tell how old he was in this interview. He trails off in to stories every question. You know what though. I'm glad he did he made it more entertaining.

mrhipsterdoofus Says:

Oct 20, 2008 - Are there any of his photos online anywhere? I'd love to see them.

jawk321 Says:

Oct 27, 2008 - 45 init you are an idiot. Your idea that we have grown as a people from 20 years ago is speculation and an opinion that not everyone shares. Conservatism has some pros and cons, just like Liberalism. Your bashing of it is ridiculous and Mr. Rogers Neighborhood was one of the most positive and encouraging children's programs EVER. It is people like you that are going to cause social anarchy and more and more movement towards morality being thought of as a primitive concept. You scare me.

disgrl4 Says:

Oct 28, 2008 - I just heard about this...this makes me so sad- Fred Rogers would have been terribly upset to know this if he was still alive. I grew up watching him, and tons of other PBS shows. PBS' standard is truly awful now.

zaniebobanie Says:

Oct 31, 2008 - I miss you very much Mr. Rogers. I hope you can hear me from heaven. You took the time to write me back when I was so troubled. I'll always treasure your letter.

MusicJew158 Says:

Nov 2, 2008 - He isnt at all like falwell or robertson and while I don't believe in religion partilarly I do feel as though Mr. Rogers had a good heart from what I have seen and heard

NuclearStrike101 Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - When a person gets old he/she starts to tell a lot of stories from his/her youth. I think it's a natural instinct to preserve the memories.

JohnSmitherson Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - Mr. Rogers was a pretty cool guy. He walked the walk as well as talked the talk.As for the comments about being conservative, well, yeah, probably. It was PBS. People want to pay for positive, moral programming. But when did Rogers ever bash homosexuals? That doesn't fit his personality at all. If Rogers wasn't tolerant and caring towards everyone, I don't know who could be.Mr. Rogers Neighborhood was an awesome show. I'm glad my PBS still shows it.Rock on, Rogers.

ageguyera21 Says:

Nov 12, 2008 - Why is this getting negative comments? They must not read the entire thing

tinternet66 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Seem's like a very nice old chap.ON the other hand not some one who would enjoy one of my shin digs down in Miami latin ladys on a boat for a long weekend all with 40" bottoms. guess what we don't wear sweaters either. God bless you Mr Rogers i reckon he is gay not that, that matters.

ryan22123 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - I couldn't end my day, without watching his show, growing up.

melancholytrees Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - although i must say im quite liberal too your points seem rather childishmr. rogers believes in the beauty in life and that was all he was trying to teachhe was accepting and helpingsometimes it is nice to stop and see the beauty in little thingshe was a great man and taught generations about PEACEnot POLITICSmorals aren't adaptable to situationsboth liberals and conservatives adapt themmr. rogers didntand thats the end of it

sleeepingpills Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - Shut the fuck up, you don't have any of those things.

callsignHUSKER Says:

Dec 22, 2008 - love fred to death, but what an unfortunate middle name for a children's show hots chuckle...

Farhibide Says:

Dec 23, 2008 - Mr. Rodgers raised me, as I suspect he did quite a few children. I only hope he knew how many lives he touched.

ericberner Says:

Dec 25, 2008 - He was magically gentle. Mr. Rodgers provided, (created)- 30 minutes a day of calm reassurance that was much in need when I was a kid. Charles Kuralt too-

calvinnemeth Says:

Dec 28, 2008 - I'm doing a history day project on Mr. Rogers' legacy, which isn't easy to do considering his legacy lies in most of the people he touched and not hard evidence. But these archives are wonderful and will certainly help me out. If anyone who reads this who watched Mr. Rogers as a kid would be willing to tell me how his show influenced their life, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

holycow818181 Says:

Dec 30, 2008 - I never noticed this, but Mr Rogers spoke a little bit more slowly than I'm used to. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but it's just going to take me a little while to get used to it.

aargreendaybillie Says:

Jan 3, 2009 - wow there are about 9 videos each about 28 minutes long interviewing mr.rogers. 4 and a half hours? wow.
